Poop business

We're getting the hang of things and slowly managing colic better.

We stopped giving Lucas the formula specially for colic (The $20-for-1-small-tin) as within the first 24 hrs that we fed him with that, he seems to be more in pain than previously. So much so that we decided to stopped giving him and switch back to Similac for Sensitive Babies. The effect was obvious. He became much better immediately ater we switched back, although still had the gas pains and crying but not as bad.

Its just horrifying that a formula specially for Colic, actually makes the colic WORSE for Lucas.

Lucas has also been only pooping once every 48 hours, and his poop is green! We were told that there's nothing to worry about though. But he's cute when he poops. He will go all quiet and still, putting his hands down by his sides. And then u can see on his facial expression he is concentrating very hard on his pooping. He will make slight soft grunts when trying to pass his poop. And after a while, he goes back to his normal self. And then the smell comes out.. hahah..

Today during bathtime, he suddenly went into "poop mode" just a few seconds before I was gonna take out his diapers (Thank goodness I didn't!). He looked so cute on my lap, trying so hard to concentrate. So I kept quiet, and let him hold my fingers with both his hands while he pooped. And after that I pat his little head and told him "Good boy!"
