First night..

I surivived the first night on our own without Mommy around to help us.

Stephanie was so kind as to offer to cook for us for the next few days, since I'm still on confinement.. She cooked lunch and dinner for us and her cooking was as usual, yummy!

We sent Mom off at the airport at abt 7am in the morning then headed home. Came back, Hubby and i took shifts to take care of BB. I slept 2 hrs, from 9-11am, hubby slept for a couple of hrs after that. Then we din manage to sleep for the rest of the day cos had to take care of BB together.

Had dinner with Stephanie, then, abt 10.30pm I went to rest with Baby. Baby din want to sleep.. so Hubby carried him out of the room, I think. And then I woke up at 1am to hear Hubby having problems chaning baby's diapers.. he was screaming and wailing away. But Hubby told me to go back to sleep.

Then when I woke up next at 3.30am.. and took care of Baby all the way until now.. which is 11.30am. Baby would sleep for an hr, then wake up cry, then I will have to either feed him or pat him, and then put him back to sleep again, and then the next hour he would cry again.. so you can imagine just how much sleep I had gotten the past 7 hrs... NOt much at all.

And then in between I still have to wash clothes, change baby's diapers and sterilise the bottles.. Its really not easy to do all these with your eyes half opened. I expected MOtherhood to be tough, but I never knew it to be THIS tough. Especially since BB is a lil more fussy.

Nevertheless, Im gonna hang in there...!
