Heartwrenching..

They say Colic is actually a harmless condition.

It is harmless to baby because other than his cries of pain, the baby usually is eating well and still growing strong.

The only reprecussions of Colic is that it causes distress to the parents. It is really totally heart-wrenching to watch and hear the baby cry and cry and nothing u can do abt it.

Today, we bought Enfamil's formula specially for Colic. 1 small tin cost us $20 bucks. Gosh! But after giving him 4 feeds of that formula, baby is still crying and squirming in pain, in fact seems to be crying even worse than usual! But that could be his digestive system getting used to the new formula. I hope things improve within the next few feeds.

Bathing him just now was a real battle. Hubby was on afternoon shift so I had to do it alone. He kept crying and squirming in pain, but I had to at least spongebath him so he can sleep better after that. He kept kicking himself off my lap. And half the time was kicking my c-section wound as well. Suddenly, I was crying along with him. It was just so heart-wrenching to watch him.

Im just feeling stressed out by all these things.. lack of sleep, Baby crying, and some issues at home as well that is causing me much frustration. Sometimes just feel so alone.
