I finally got down to bathing Lucas today. Bathing him is a real challenge. He really doesn't like bath time, and he used to wail the entire house down.
My right hand was injuried when they stick the IV drip into my wrist for 48 hrs when I gave birth in the hospital. I wondered why they stick it into my wrist, of all places! I tot IV drips either went into the top of ur hand, just below your fingers, or at the elbow joints, where they usually draw blood from. My right hand had hurt ever since the day they plucked the needle out. And it hurts quite alot whenever I have to carry Baby, lift him out of the cot etc.. I cant even carry a flask of water with my right hand nor perform a simple act of just brushing my teeth, without it hurting. Thus bathing Lucas, and holding him in the bathtub is painful for me.
Im just worried it might be a permanent damage to my nerve or something. Only time will tell if it is.
Anyway, that aside, I bathed him for the first time today. He din really cry much.. that was a good sign. He's getting used to the water. Cant say the same for the changing of diapers though. Daddy Saw always kenna Lucas 'wet bullets' whenever he tries to change his diapers. Fountain of blessings will rise and hit Daddy Saw. Thats why they say, all male babies without diapers onshould always be considered Armed and Dangerous.

After bathing him, putting 'Ruyi Oil' for him to rid the wind in the stomach.
Covering him with towel to make him feel warm. Ceserean babies are scared of the cold.. cos they were actually happily swimming in mummy's warm belly and suddenly a hand went in and grabbed them out.. thus Lucas has a phobia for the cold.. probably reminds him of the trauma he went through in the OT.
Playing with him and distracting him so he wouldn't cry..
